I know this isn’t technically a “recipe” but I LOVE this smoothie for breakfast or even a quick snack. I like to add protein powder to it, but it is just as good without it.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 bag green tea
- 2 tsp. honey
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 cup frozen strawberries or rasberries
- ½ banana
- 1 cup calcium-fortified light vanilla soy milk
- 2 Tbsp. protein powder (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Microwave water on high in a small glass or bowl until steaming hot. Add tea bag and steep for 3 minutes. Remove tea bag and stir in honey until it dissolves.
- Combine berries, banana, and soy milk in blender.
- Add tea to blender and blend ingredients on highest setting until smooth. You can add more water if it becomes a bit too thick.
Consume with a smile!
